Both organizations are dedicated to healing, awakening, personal and community empowerment, preservation of plant medicines, and conservation. *****More info below******

ALOHA KE AKUA: We are a small eco-farm in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Santa Marta, Colombia. We offer nightly accommodation with option of dorms, shared cabana dorm, private cabana, and camping. We provide three meals a day with our vegan/vegetarian restaurant which only uses locally grown organic crops, vegetables, and fruits. We offer meditation, yoga classes, and a variety of different plant medicines. Our main focus is to create a space where people can discover themselves to better know and understand their being. So, COME TO TEACH, COME TO BE TAUGHT.

TPFP: The Peoples' Forest Project is a grassroots organization that works to empower the locals of the Putumayo region of the Colombian Amazon through individual and community based projects. Our goal is to promote local sustainability while also working with locals to help conserve and restore the Amazon rain forest to balance the effects caused by natural resource exploitation.
Some of our current projects and programs include: a music school for the local youth, english language lessons for the local community, reforestation (paying a few locals to plant trees in previously cleared areas), setting up an Eco-Hostel with an indigenous amazon medicine focus, and purchasing land for conservation/preservation/planting of native plants and medicines.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! We are currently fundraising to purchase a 200 hectare (500 acre) plot of jungled land Putumayo region of the Colombian Amazon. The land itself only costs $10,000usd. We are seeking $15,000usd: $10,ooo for the land itself, $3000 to pay a few members of the local community to care for the land and plant trees/medicines, and $1000 for our fiscal sponsor. Please contact us here or at tpfpcolombia@gmail.com if you are interested in helping us make this dream come true.
